About the Opportunity

Eagle Builders is looking to add new Site Supervisors to join our team in either Blackfalds, AB, or Kelowna, BC on a full-time basis, to lead the charge for our large-scale commercial and multi-level buildings. The successful candidates will be required to travel throughout Canada to our various job sites, along with working locally in B.C. or Alberta.

As a Site Supervisor, you will coordinate and manage our team of trades, along with building, and maintaining an accelerated schedule, while ensuring process, safety and quality are at or above our standards. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining project schedules, making appropriate adjustments to ensure the project is completed on time
  • Overseeing all aspects of the project and ensuring work is being completed as outlined
  • Managing multiple projects at a time, while being readily available to assist and guide all onsite personnel with tasks and issues
  • Being responsible for scheduling sub-trades and deliveries from suppliers
  • Communicating with sub-trades to ensure that all personnel are working safely and efficiently
  • Being in constant communication with project managers and giving timely updates when required
  • Making sure the quality of all work is above industry standards
  • Keeping on top of documentation and submitting in a timely manner
  • Reading, understanding, and explaining blueprints and informing trades when changes occur
  • Being available to solve issues, travelling to site, and giving updates after traditional work hours
  • Foreseeing issues before they occur and preparing a solution in a timely manner
  • Conducting regular on-site and office meetings with owners, sub-trades, and project managers

More About You 

In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 2-5 years of experience in the commercial, multi-story residential, agricultural, or industrial construction industries. Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain the Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE), Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform certificates. A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required. 

As our ideal candidate, you'll take ownership and responsibility to safely execute each project in a prompt and efficient manner by demonstrating excellent leadership ability, communication, and interpersonal skills. You can oversee a project from start to finish, and can adapt to a changing environment with multiple deadlines. You have experience managing the expectations of all stakeholders, with strong attention to detail and the ability to make timely and rational decisions under pressure. You have exceptional time management and organization skills, with a strong sense of urgency and a proven safety record.
